My brands

SOOKIbaby – This is my favourite brand in
Australia. Unfortunately the sizes are too small for my own
children, but I sent them to all my friends and loved ones.
It is a cool, retro label with a twist, is sold throughout
Australia and New Zealand.
Dijana Dotur is the designer and "mother” of the label, applying
trendy and original graphics to the clothes.
SOOKIbaby has had seven successful seasons at Myer; Australia's
largest department store. Currently the SOOKIbaby sizes range
from newborn up to two years.
By summer 2011, new collection from four years up to eight
years- I am so happy about that!!

Oobi Baby&Kids - I found in a small shop in
the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. It was the "Princess
skirt" I fell for, and my daughter also.
Oobi is an Australian brand that has existed since 1998, and
since 2003 they have focused almost exclusively on great fashion
for babies that are a cut above the rest - no boring stuff here!
The designer is named Alex and tries to bring fashion choices to
the children and inspire them with different designs and colours.
Besides clothes Oobi has some fun accessories such as hats, hair
slides, bibs, blankets, etc. Sizes are available from newborn up
to six years.

MiniMonkey – is a relatively new business,
which sells smart solutions for creative parents and children.
Mini-Monkey is not from Australia but from the Netherlands.
Their "baby sling" was my favourite from the store in my
neighbourhood , it's a clever solution that I know works because
I have friends who have tried it. Simple, smart, practical, and
affordable, are the key words in their business.

M-studio – I saw the first time in my local
store. Silk ribbon in different colors with beads and Swarovski
crystals. I fell for them instantly and could not choose the
color. Marlis is the designer and owner behind the M-Studio. All
jewelry is made beforehand and no two are identical, which is
great fun. We can also make jewelry even more personal by
stamping small phrases or words in certain charms.

Sweetiepie – this company makes really cute
little wrappers as decorations for cupcakes. It was at Bondi
Markets that I saw them for the first time and cried out in
delight thinking; I have to take these home to Sweden! Ruth
Dalton is the owner and designer of this brand. In summary,
Sweetiepie produce wrappers that make cupcakes / muffins even
more fun. They are reusable and available with different themes
for different occasions.

Zatini – My first Zatini purchase was from my
local boutique and was for my mother as a gift. The appearance
was so original and striking; my mother loved her bracelet!
That's when I contacted Andrea, who is the founder and designer
of Zatini. Andrea started her business in 2003 in Curl Curl
where she lives. She works with a wide variety of raw materials
such as, wood, shells and resin. Zatini's versatile collection
consists of a bold design, specially selected materials and
quirky creations to complement any fashionable wardrobe.
